About me
My name is Elliott Ball, and I'm a first-year Actuarial Science student at Western University. Before Western, I graduated from Danforth Collegiate (DCTI) in the accelerated MAST program with a 98% overall Grade 12 average. I finished my first year at Western with a 4.0 GPA and a 91% average, while completing first-year math courses including Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Advanced Linear Algebra, and Data Science. I created ClearMark Prep because I genuinely enjoy teaching math and have always believed that many students are capable of much higher marks when concepts are explained clearly, efficiently, and in a way that actually makes sense.
My teaching style focuses on breaking down difficult ideas, spending time on the parts students truly struggle with, and making sure they understand why each step works instead of just memorizing formulas. ClearMark Prep is built to help students gain confidence, stop losing easy marks, and walk into exams feeling prepared.

I teach the way I wish math had been taught to me — without unnecessary jargon, without skipping the steps that actually matter, and with the perspective of someone who recently sat in the same seat. The goal isn't to impress students with complexity. It's to make hard concepts genuinely make sense.
